Day 1 – Arrival in Jammu & Transfer to Srinagar:
Upon arrival in Jammu, you will be warmly welcomed and driven to Srinagar, enjoying a scenic journey through the beautiful mountains and valleys of Jammu & Kashmir. On reaching Srinagar, check into your hotel or houseboat and relax after the long drive. Spend the evening at leisure, perhaps taking a peaceful walk along Dal Lake.
Day 2 – Sonamarg Day Trip:
After breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion to Sonamarg, known as the “Meadow of Gold.” Surrounded by majestic snow-capped peaks and lush green meadows, Sonamarg offers breathtaking views. You may enjoy an optional pony ride to Thajiwas Glacier or relax by the Sindh River. Return to Srinagar in the evening for an overnight stay.
Day 3 – Gulmarg Day Trip:
Today, visit Gulmarg, the famous “Meadow of Flowers.” Enjoy panoramic views of the Himalayas and take the optional Gondola ride, one of the highest cable cars in the world. Depending on the season, you can experience snow activities or enjoy peaceful walks in the scenic meadows. Return to Srinagar for an overnight stay.
Day 4 – Srinagar Local Sightseeing:
Spend the day exploring the highlights of Srinagar. Visit the beautiful Mughal Gardens such as Shalimar Bagh and Nishat Bagh, and the historic Shankaracharya Temple for panoramic city views. Enjoy a relaxing shikara ride on Dal Lake and explore local markets for Kashmiri handicrafts and souvenirs. Overnight stay in Srinagar.
Day 5 – Srinagar to Pahalgam (Overnight Stay):
After breakfast, drive to Pahalgam, a charming hill station known for its lush valleys and the Lidder River. En route, enjoy views of saffron fields and scenic countryside landscapes. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and spend the evening exploring the serene surroundings. Overnight stay in Pahalgam.
Day 6 – Pahalgam to Katra:
After breakfast, begin your journey from Pahalgam to Katra. Enjoy the scenic drive as you descend from the valleys into the plains. Upon arrival in Katra, check into your hotel and relax, preparing for the spiritual journey ahead.
Day 7 – Vaishno Devi Darshan:
Early in the morning, begin your trek to the holy shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi. You may choose to walk, hire a pony, or opt for a helicopter service (optional). Seek blessings at the sacred cave shrine and experience the spiritual atmosphere. After completing the darshan, return to your hotel in Katra for an overnight stay.
Day 8 – Departure:
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and proceed to Jammu Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey, carrying unforgettable memories of both the scenic beauty of Kashmir and the spiritual blessings of Mata Vaishno Devi.
