Upon your arrival in Jammu, you will begin a scenic road journey towards Srinagar. The drive takes you through beautiful mountain landscapes, tunnels, and lush valleys including the famous Patnitop region. On arrival in Srinagar, check into your hotel or houseboat. In the evening, you can relax or enjoy a peaceful walk near Dal Lake. Overnight stay in Srinagar.
After breakfast, drive towards Sonmarg, also known as the “Meadow of Gold,” surrounded by majestic glaciers and peaks. Continue your journey to Baltal, the base camp for the Amarnath Yatra. Check into your tented accommodation and prepare for the pilgrimage. Dinner and overnight stay at Baltal.
Early morning, proceed for the holy darshan of Amarnath Cave. You can either trek (approx. 14 km one way) or opt for a helicopter (optional). After darshan of the naturally formed ice Shivling, return back to Baltal and drive to Srinagar. Overnight stay in Srinagar.
After breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion to Gulmarg, one of the most beautiful hill stations in India. Famous for its lush meadows and snow-capped mountains, Gulmarg also offers the world-famous Gondola ride (optional) up to Apharwat Peak. Enjoy the scenic beauty and return to Srinagar by evening. Overnight stay in Srinagar.
After breakfast, drive to Pahalgam, known as the “Valley of Shepherds.” En route, you can visit saffron fields and local villages. On arrival, explore nearby attractions like Betaab Valley, Aru Valley, and the Lidder River (on your own or by local taxi). Enjoy the serene environment. Overnight stay in Pahalgam.
After breakfast, begin your return journey to Jammu. Upon arrival, you will be dropped at the railway station or airport for your onward journey with unforgettable memories of the Amarnath Yatra.
